The major market were almost all negative for the week with the exception of the FTSE and the Nasdaq.

The FTSE closed at 6859 to be up 4.7% for the week.  The Dax was down 1.6% for the week by ending at 10544.  The CAC closed the week at 4400.5 to be down 2.2%.

The Dow closed the week at 18553 to be down 0.12%.  The Nasdaq Composite Index closed the week at 5238.4, to be up 0.11%.

The Nikkei 225 ended the week at 16546 to be down 2.2%.

The major market were almost all positive for the week with the exception of the FTSE.

The FTSE closed at 6550.7 to be down 3.6% for the week.  The Dax was up 3.3% for the week by ending at 10713.  The CAC closed the week at 4500 to be up 2%.

The Dow closed the week at 18576 to be up 0.17%.  The Nasdaq Composite Index closed the week at 5232.9, to be up 0.23%.

The Nikkei 225 ended the week at 16919 to be up 4.1%.

The world’s major markets were a mixed bag this last week.  Brexit is starting to show some effects for the UK economy.

The FTSE closed at 6793.5 to be up 1% for the week.  The Dax was up 0.28% for the week by ending at 10367.  The CAC closed the week at 4410.6 to be down 0.66%.

The Dow closed the week at 18544 to be up 0.66%.  The Nasdaq Composite Index closed the week at 5221.2, to be up 1.1%.

The Nikkei 225 ended the week at 16254 to be up 1.9%.

This is the last trading day of July, so we will summarize the markets for the week as well as the full month.  It has now been a full month since the Brexit, and thus the markets have had plenty of time to adjust to that thought.  Here are the results.

The chaos that Brexit caused initially, seems to have now calmed the markets for now.

The FTSE closed at 6730.5 to be up 0.92%% for the week.  The Dax was up 0.79% for the week by ending at 10147.  The CAC closed the week at 4381.1 to be up 0.2%.

The Dow closed the week at 18571 to be up 0.29%.  The Nasdaq Composite Index closed the week at 5100.2, to be up 1.4%.

The Nikkei 225 ended the week at 16627 to be up 0.78%.
