This was the last week of trading for the month of September as well as the last month of Q3. It was a mixed trading week for the world’s major markets.

The FTSE closed at 6899.3 to be down slightly 0.15% for the week, and was just slightly up 0.07% for the month. The Dax was down 1.1% this week with a close of 10511 and was also down 1.6% over the course of the month. The CAC closed the week at 4482.6 to fall 0.14% as well as 1.3% for the whole month.

The major markets that had a positive week last week.

The FTSE closed at 6909.4 to be up 3% for the week. The Dax was up 3.4% this week with a close of 10627. The CAC closed the week at 4488.7 to rise 3.6%.

The Dow ended the week at 18261 to be up 0.76% for the week. The Nasdaq Composite Index ended the week at 5305.8 to be up 1.2%.

The Nikkei 225 closed the week at 16754 to be up 1.4%.

The Nikkei was the only stock market of the major markets that had a positive week.

The FTSE closed at 6777 to be down 1.7% for the week. The Dax was down 1% this week with a close of 10573. The CAC closed the week at 4491.4 to slide 1.1%.

The Dow ended the week at 18085 to be down 2.2% for the week. The Nasdaq Composite Index ended the week at 5125.9 to lose 2.4%.

The Nikkei 225 closed the week at 16966 to be up 0.24%.

Last week was a good week for the major markets.

The FTSE was up by closing at 6894.6 to be up 0.83%. The Dax was up 0.91% for the week by closing at 10684. The CAC closed at 4542.2 to be up 2.3% for the week.

The Dow closed at 18492 to be up on the week 0.53%. The Nasdaq Composite Index ended the week at 5242.9 with a gain of 0.59%.

The Nikkei 225 had a great week by closing at 16926 to be up 3.5%.

The FTSE closed the week at 6838.1 to be down 0.3% for the week, but ended up 0.66% for the month. The Dax was up 0.42% for the week and 2.1% for the month with a close of 10588. The CAC closed the week at 4441.9 to be up 0.94% for the week and 0.71% for August.
