All major markets were up last week except for the US.
The FTSE closed the week at 6138.5 to be up 0.21%. The Dax was up 0.84% last week with a close of 9952.9. The CAC ended the week at 4320 to be up 0.44%.
The Dow closed the week at 17535 to be down 1.2%. The Nasdaq Composite Index closed the week at 471.7 to be down 0.39%.
The Nikkei 225 ended the week at 16412 to be up 1.9%.
The Dollar enjoyed the best week of trading by the major currencies. The Dollar was up 0.46% for the week against the Sterling, with a close of $1.437. The Dollar also gained against the Euro 1.1% with a close of $1.1295. The Dollar also gained against the Yen 2.3% for the week, with a close of 109.2.
The Euro was up against the Yen 1.2% for the week, with a close of 123.3. The Euro was lower against the Sterling with a close of 1.2723, to fall 0.64%. The Euro fell slightly against the CHF 0.51% for the week, with a close of 1.1019.
Brent crude rose a solid 5.4% for the week by closing at $47.83 per barrel. Gold fell 1.3% for the week by closing at $1273.4 per ounce.
