The major market were almost all positive for the week with the exception of the FTSE.

The FTSE closed at 6550.7 to be down 3.6% for the week.  The Dax was up 3.3% for the week by ending at 10713.  The CAC closed the week at 4500 to be up 2%.

The Dow closed the week at 18576 to be up 0.17%.  The Nasdaq Composite Index closed the week at 5232.9, to be up 0.23%.

The Nikkei 225 ended the week at 16919 to be up 4.1%.

The Euro enjoyed the best week of trading among the major currencies.  The Dollar gained against the Sterling 1% for the week by closing at $1.2932.  The Dollar lost ground against the Euro with a close of $1.1172 to be down 0.84%.  The Dollar fell against the Yen 0.79% for the week by ending up at 101.0.

The Euro was stronger versus the Yen 0.05% for the week by closing at 112.9.  The Euro rose against the Sterling 1.9% by closing at 1.1575.  The Euro gained on the CHF slightly 0.22% for the week by ending at 1.0880.

Brent crude rose 6.1% this week to end at $46.97 per barrel.  Gold was up by closing at $1352.2 per ounce to be up 1.3%.
